Train People

Train People

I saw these two on spearate trains. I saw the man at the top when I was on my way home from the Young God’s exhibition this evening. I thought I was smart because he looked comfortable. He looked as though he was not getting up for a long time. I just got the tilt of his head down and he shot up and ran off the tube! He obviously forgot that he was supposed to get up soon. I therefore had to fill in the rest from memory as best I could. Memory sketching is always challenging and fun. It would be great if I could go back in time to see whether or not I got it right. But alas, no one has invented a time machine yet, and I am not smart enough to build my own.

I saw the green lady on the DLR in the morning. She was standing up looking down at her phone. She was pulling her lip down as if she was really focused on something. I always wonder what people are thinking when they make the faces they make, while they are going about their daily lives. Human beings everywhere with billions of stories and crazy things going on. Yet on the bus or on the train going to our destinations, we all seem so mute.
