Cold People

 

On the rare occasion when I actually leave the house and use public transport, I like to secretly sketch people. I sit or stand and silently watch for good subjects.

 

I am becoming rather good at spotting those who are likely to stay still long enough for me to sketch them. Sleepers, readers and mobile device users are the best subjects. Actually, I would argue that mobile device users are sometimes better than sleepers. They get hypnotised for ages. Good for me!

 

The people in this sketch were visibly very cold. Especially the woman. She was dozing off and burying her chin into her coat. It was actually very cute to see.
